TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

As a licensed psychologist in California (PSY34847), I bring a unique blend of academic and clinical experience to my practice. My Ph.D. in Personality Psychology, with its emphasis in statistics and research methods, provides a strong foundation for understanding human behavior. After a decade dedicated to research and teaching at the university level, I redirected my energy into clinical psychology, completing advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

I continue to engage in research, publishing, and speaking. I'm passionate about training fellow clinicians, offering consultation, and contributing to the field through various leadership and mentorship roles. You may download my CV here, if you’re really interested!

Beyond my private practice, I love hiking in the mountains with my dog, experimenting with new recipes, reading, and writing creatively.
